The McFarlane & Partners Wealth Management Programme

Aims

To provide you with a "one-stop" approach to your investment portfolio. Whatever your requirements, we have an investment strategy to meet your needs. Our portfolios are designed to meet your objectives whether they are to provide an income, create long term capital growth or a combination of both. The programme provides a platform through which we manage all your pensions and investments utilising our combined experience of over 25 years in Financial Services.

The investment process

A key element of designing any investment strategy is the asset allocation, i.e. how you invest your money across different asset classes, for example, cash, bonds, property and equities. Past performance has shown that these different asset classes do not react in the same way to any particular set of market conditions. This means that by investing in a broad range of asset classes, you should have an improved chance of not being wrong on all of them at the same time; losses in one asset type might be offset by gains in another and vice versa.

We utilise various research methods including stochastic modelling tools, background reading, meetings with Discretionary Fund Managers, investment seminars, and then use our own judgement to come up with an appropriate mix of assets.
